About Mrs. Pomfret

This will be my 20th year teaching in the Cranston Public School System. I have been teaching first grade for 19 years and for one year I was a Title 1 Reading Teacher. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Speech and Language and my teacher certification in grades 1-6. I have a Master's Degree in Literacy.

First grade is a very fun and rewarding grade to teach. The growth that first graders make in such a short amount of time is remarkable and brings so much joy to me. I try to make learning fun but challenging at the same time. I want students to look forward to coming to school every day.
